Hey gang, it Jonathan (i.e. DrDetxter). I am moving out of a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house in Silverlake (near Sunset and Alvarado) that will be available by the first week of November. It's a gated property with a 4 car driveway, wrap-around porch/veranda, and washer/dryer. Asking rent is $2000.00 + utilities. However, it is owned by my aunt, and she is looking for good tenants and is negotiable. It's location is central to everything, minutes from downtown, hollywood, and a short drive to pasadena. Roommate Wanted
Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out to my circles in search of a roommate for July, August and part of September at my snazzy apartment in downtown LA. Please forward this to anyone who is awesome and is looking for an awesome summer roommate :) I'm hoping to avoid Craig's List, if possible.
My roommate is moving out of state for the summer, and won't be returning to downtown LA in the fall. Therefore, I'll also be looking for a roommate for next year (after Sept, when our lease is up), but I'll deal with that later. This could possibly be the same roommate for this summer...
First things first (July-September):

  • a/c and heater (hardly need it)
  • secure, guaranteed parking space in gated parking garage
  • gym, spa, olympic-size swimming pool, and bbq in the courtyard (with waterfall and palm trees!) for residents
  • laundry unit on each floor
  • free guest parking for up to 4 cars per apartment after 5pm every day, and all day on the weekends
  • very quiet- our apt. faces the courtyard
  • apartment complex has an attached coffee and yogurt shop, dry cleaners

Room/House for Rent


Hey gang, I live in the southeast portion of Silverlake, near the Cathedral, but closer to Sunset Junction (actually by the corner of Alvarado and Sunset) and have an available room for rent. It's a 2.5 bedroom, 1.5 bath room house, with washer/dryer, gated 4-car carport, and a separate one car garage that I use for storage. It's a great location, and the owner is asking for $750/month for the room. I am a quiet roommate, always at work, and hardly home. When I am home, I am usually sleeping or reading. I will be leaving in October, so the house will be completely available by that time. Please respond if you are interested.

Roommate Wanted

I live two blocks away from the San Gabriel Mission in the City of San Gabriel in a 2+1.5 2-story townhome/condo -- close to CalState LA, PCC, ELAC and most importantly, the Cathedral! I am looking for a roommate to share the pad, rent and expenses with for at least six months -- although rental agreement would be on a month-to-month. I moved in about a month ago, so the place has new carpeting, paint and ready for move in. The pad is pretty much furnished with the exception of the room for rent. The complex has a total of 9 units with on-site laundry facility and parking. Also, each unit comes with a private patio area perfect for the upcoming months. The monthly rent is $700 + utilities (gas, power, and cable which should be < $100). I have two toy poodles (Charlie and Louie) that share the pad with me from time-to-time.
